This page describes your legal right to cancel an order under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, as amended), and how it relates to our own, more generous 30-day return window and Lifetime Guarantee. It applies to customers in the European Union; if you're ordering from outside the EU, see below for how returns work for you.
Our return window: 30 days
EU law guarantees you at least 14 days to cancel an order, no questions asked. We extend that to 30 days from delivery on every order — our own policy, not the legal minimum, because 14 days is tight if a piece needs to sit in a drawer for a couple of weeks before you're sure.
To start a return, email [email protected] with your order number — no form, no reason required. You then have 14 days from that message to send the item to us at: Trandafirilor 65, Berceni, Ilfov, Romania.
What we refund, and when
- The full price you paid, including our standard shipping cost to you, refunded within 14 days of receiving the item back (or of you providing proof you've shipped it, if earlier).
- Refunded to your original payment method.
- You cover the cost of shipping the item back to us. Use a trackable method — we can't refund an item that never arrives.
- Items showing wear beyond what's needed to check them may have a deduction reflecting that loss of value, as EU law permits.
What isn't covered
By law and by our own policy, the following aren't eligible for return:
- Custom or personalized pieces — anything made to your specification (a bespoke leather/color combination, initials, custom sizing). See Custom Orders. If a custom piece arrives with a genuine defect, that's always covered by the Lifetime Guarantee instead.
- Digital downloads (PDF patterns and kits) — once downloaded, having agreed at checkout that downloading ends your right to cancel. Haven't downloaded it yet? You can still cancel.
Everything else — standard, non-personalized wallets, straps, and ready-made pieces — is covered by the full 30-day window, sale price or full price, no exceptions.
Our Lifetime Guarantee
Separately from returns, every piece we make is covered by our Lifetime Guarantee against defects in stitching and hardware, for as long as you own it — including custom pieces, and with no time limit.
Orders from outside the EU
The statutory EU right above applies to EU consumers specifically, but we extend the same 30-day window and terms to every order, regardless of where it ships.
