If the stitching or construction ever fails, it gets fixed.
Every piece is saddle-stitched by hand with waxed thread — two needles crossing through the same hole from opposite sides, so a single worn or cut stitch does not unravel the seam the way machine lockstitching does. That construction is what the guarantee actually covers.
What is covered
- Stitching that fails under normal use
- Seams or edges that separate due to a construction defect
- Hardware (snaps, rivets) that fails under normal use
If any of the above happens, send a photo and a short description through Contact Us and it will be repaired or replaced at no cost.
What is not covered
- Patina. Vegetable-tanned leather is supposed to darken, soften, and mark with use — see Our Leathers. That is not wear damage, it is the material doing exactly what it is meant to do.
- Damage from water, heat, or chemical exposure
- Cosmetic wear from years of daily carry (scuffs, edge softening)
- Loss or theft
This guarantee is about standing behind the actual construction, for as long as you carry the piece — not about pretending leather does not age. It will look different in five years. It should not fall apart.
